How it works

Paying per ride is days × rides per day × the IC fare you choose. Tokyo Metro charges by distance; most rides in central Tokyo are in the two lowest bands. Toei Subway fares are a little different, and a ride that changes between Tokyo Metro and Toei gets ¥70 off, so per-ride costs here are an estimate.

The Tokyo Subway Ticket covers all Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway lines for 24, 48 or 72 hours from the first time you pass a gate. For longer stays the calculator picks the cheapest mix of tickets. It does not cover JR lines such as the Yamanote Line, or private railways.

The one-day pass for Tokyo Metro and Toei is valid on one calendar day, from first to last train. The Tokyo Metro 24-hour ticket covers Tokyo Metro lines only.
